What sort of camber, front and rear, do people have after lowering(what springs) their Fgs and how has their tyre wear been?

Have people fitted shims or camber/castor kits to fix it?

Advice please.

it all depends on your ride height, width/offset of rims/ what size tyre etc.

what have you got installed? / what are you looking at getting?

as it will help trying to workout what you need :)

Got lovell sl front/ssl rear, shimmed best is front -1.2deg R -1.3deg L, rear is -1.6deg R -0.8deg L. Running stock 19" G6E wheels and dunlops.

What can I expect with tyre wear? Really after -0.75 to 1.0 all round.

Mines quite low-pedders xa, no kits or shims, tyre wear isn't a problem.

What camber do you have front and rear?

Just got mine back, -0.6deg camber all 4 corners, front castor 7.0deg L and 6.2deg R, toe front 1.6mm L&R rear 2.0 L&R.

WA Suspensions modified the front upper arm bolts to allow more accurate adjustment of camber/caster and fitted new Kmac bushes also fitted superpro rear upper control bushes to fix the rear camber.

Compared to before my tyres should wear much better. Also drives much better obviously and handles spot on(everyday road use)

I guess with the coilovers they design in compensation for the lack of camber adj the FGs have std.

Do the XAs have adjustments for camber and caster?

Would mean they become even better value for money compared to spring/shock replacements and adding caster/camber kits.

No they don't but I think they are still good value.

I tend to aggree the XAs are good value, lot better value than the Teins.

I remember the Teins I had on my VZ Late model camira had elongated mountings to help with the camber.

But I got to say my current combo of bilsteins/lovells/whitelines(and some upgraded bushes)rides some much better than my Teins ever did and my current is straight from the box. The Teins needed tweeking several times to find the sweet spot
