Your tune will not be set up for this, unless it was hollow to begin with, might make the car over boost. Found this out with my old s4 rx7, before I understanded the consiquences. Unless you get a yellow sticker, your car never goes over the pit. I would think the actuator would control any turbo fluctuations if set correctly.NZ is similar to Queensland with respect to cats. There is no emissions testing when the car is tested for "warrant of fitness" Edited 06/01/12 11:17 PM by riptide Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/76241-no-cat/page/6/#findComment-1177775 Share on other sites
neotim Member 276 Member For: 14y 2m 2d Gender: Male Location: Gold Coast Posted 12/06/12 02:29 AM Share Posted 12/06/12 02:29 AM I have a 5inch 100cel venom cat welded in to the factory zorst with the middle muffler replaced with straight pipes on my fg ute. If I gut the cat will it be much louder than it is already? Any slight power increase?
