Real Posted 01/08/11 01:22 PM Share Posted 01/08/11 01:22 PM (edited) Hey everyone! So I have been wanting to knock off my Cat and run a straight pipe instead. Atm my car is running 326.3rwkw@15psi, by removing the cat, how much extra flow/power do people usually pick up? just wondering oh ps. I will be retuning if I decide to go ahead with the pipe Edited 01/08/11 01:23 PM by southside

Or are they different is SA?In Vic if you get done with no cat they will throw the book at you. 10K+ fine from memory.

What would the power difference be from 100CPI 5 inch to no cat at all with his mods? What are the specs of the cat you have currently?
Tobey Awesome... Member 407 Member For: 14y 7m 16d Gender: Male Posted 02/08/11 12:31 AM Share Posted 02/08/11 12:31 AM I dont think it is strictly measurable. Every car will respond differently to removing it.From what I've heard a 100cpi cat wont pass EPA emissions testing anyway...

I'm waiting for a mate to pick his FG up tomorrow from our tuner which has been done without a cat.

Real Posted 02/08/11 10:04 AM Author Share Posted 02/08/11 10:04 AM I know this hasn't got anything to do with our group, but a mate of mine knocked his cat out of his GTR 34 Skyline and the before and after tune showed a noticable difference in power, throttle response and overall flow of the vehicle.
