Bf 4 Speed - Who's Has Gone South From Oem Cooler

Hi everyone

about time to service my 4 speed again and just wondering who has had it go pear shaped in factory form

one mob has mentioned that the heat exchanger is prone to failing as are the plastic lines.

the recommend and external cooler and changing the lines to BA type as they were steel.

I know its prob a good idea but we dont do any towing and its my wifes car and she doesnt exactly drive it hard.

would like to hear anyones experiences
