Hi guys.

I have a set of BA XR6T straight through "centre muffler delete" pipes, and was wondering if these would bolt straight up to an FG as a centre muffler section replacement?

Cheers.

Ok, I scoured the "internets", to find that the FG XR6T exhaust is completely different to the BA/BF XR6T (see attached pic).

Interestingly the exhaust is a single pipe (looks lika a 3"), but the centre section is temporarily split into a twin pipe section...

So the question is, when cutting out the centre muffler, would you just make the whole thing single 3", or persist with a twin pipe portion ?

Jake.

Has your car been tuned or stock? A nice high flow cat would give you extra sound when accelerating and quiet at cruise. If it's just sound then a single 3 inch pipe would be cheaper to manufacture, just need to make sure you wont lose too much ground clearance by using a single pipe than two smaller pipes like the factory setup which runs either side of the drive shaft.
