Mine had a 5 speed and was fine, bit it had really low km's. If it's all you can afford, just make sure you take it for a long test drive and put it through it's paces. Part of the selector kept coming loose in mine, which basically meant you slowly start losing gears till you only had 1st and 3rd from memory.Where as the 6 speed can handle 450+rwkw's, why risk it.
