cvanxr Member 502 Member For: 22y 1m 18d Location: Country NSW Posted 04/02/03 11:57 PM Share Posted 04/02/03 11:57 PM I ended up going through Westpoint. They were great. Kept me informed every step of the process. I even had my vehicle delivered to me only a couple of days after purchase and before Christmas. The distance between where I live and Westpoint is some 500km so this was no easy achievement. I have nothing but praise for them.

Guest harasn Guests Posted 14/02/03 10:40 AM Share Posted 14/02/03 10:40 AM just ordered my second Ba through these guys and girls. Great service and friendly people! They don't make you feel like your in their way when your asking questions like at my local dealer. Funny about that. now I've bought two cars through werribee in 6 months and none at the local dealer. service must mean something after all!!keep it up west point!!!! We weren't pressured and all staff have been professional and knowledgeable. The car looks like it will be an April build, would have been a March build if I didn't want the premium sound...I will call Craig Monday and get the wheels in motion for a SIDO.The wait begins......................... Guest Xr6Tas Guests Posted 17/02/03 04:05 AM Share Posted 17/02/03 04:05 AM I just got off the phone to Craig Waller and as of today have a nice new Mercury Silver XR6T on the way Service and advice from Craig has been nothing but superb and I really feel like I have been looked after.Their service and discount is so good I’m flying up from Hobart to purchase & driving it back on the Spirit of Tas. Even taking into account travel costs it still works out way cheaper. My local dealer is pathetic in comparison!Keep up the great work WestPoint. Guest Xr6Tas Guests Posted 17/02/03 09:30 AM Share Posted 17/02/03 09:30 AM Posted by richdaveHey great news.....when will you be hereFew months to go yet! April/May by the sounds of it. Could be longer of course. I have to sell a Berlina in the meantime so I'm in no major hurry yet Posted by richdaveBTW, just curious, how you gonna register it? How does stamp duty compare state to state?I'm in the process of getting info at the moment so I don’t have full details yet. What I do know is I'll need to get a “non registered vehicle permit” to drive it back to Hobart. Will pay Rego and stamp duty when I get it back. I think stamp duty will be around $2000.Am also buying a car bra for the trip between Devonport and Hobart as the last thing I want is to get my new baby home with stone chips on on it :augen:Posted by DagabondSimonIf needed mate give me a pm and I'll give ya's a lift from the Airport over to Westpoint.free of charge. Being chauffeur driven in an XR6T to pick up my own XR6T would be too cool B)
