Purchasing Xr6 From Westpoint Ford

I am contemplating the purchase of an XR6 from Westpoint Ford, at Hoppers Crossing in Melbourne.

Has anyone purchased their BA from them?

I know that are one of our site sponsors, is there a contact at Westpoint that I should see?

What's their after sale service like?

Any other purchasing pointers would be appreciated.

I dropped in on the weekend and they appear to be very professional.

The best person to contact at Westpoint is Craig Waller they can be contacted on 03 97496444 dont forget to mention you got this info from the xr6turbo site.

In regards to who has purchased a car from Westpoint, the members LionHeart, Dagabond, Richdave and a few others have and have been very happy with their professionalism and service.

maybe the guys who have bought a car from Westpoint can give their thoughts on after sales service and professionalism?

Yes bought my beast from Westpoint..

Aftersales has been fantastic. The woman to speak to there is Samantha.. Taken VERY good care of me..

Just did my 3000K service there and it was spot on. Best feeling I have had walking away from a service in a while. VERY Professional.

Craig Waller for the sale and Samantha for your after sales and you will be a happy camper...

I looked around before I bought and apart from Westpoint there was only 1 other dealer I would trust so I tossed up between them and westpoint won for the little extra's they took care of me with...

I have contacted Craig and the wheels are in motion. He was very professional and was also very informative.

Now we just have to agree on a change over price.... ;)

I bought my BA NA XR6 from west point. There sales staff are very good. I bought mine from Anne Martella and found buying a new car to be less stressfull than I thought it would be. I will be speaking to her later this week to order my second BA! I have had my 3000km service done at werribee and was happy with the pick up and drop off of a loan car, but I felt I was fobbed off by the service advisor.

I used to work in a dealer, as some of you may know, and I used to hate people coming into there and saying they are ford employees like they are the most important people in the world so I didn't tell them I worked at the proving ground. After they fixed some of the stuff, he rang me telling me that some of the things I had reported were in his opinion not really a problem. He told me that they had adjusted the clutch and things like that. Now I know these cars inside and out. I politly informed him that the clutch can not be adjusted. He didn't know what to say! In the dealership I worked at we were all mechanics in the past that worked as the service advisors. It saves the advisors looking like idiots to customers.

I have had to wait for all the parts that are needed to repair my car but I knew that would happen but I think I will make sure that next time I get stuff done I will ask for a different advisor.

The dealership on the whole I'm ipressed with don't get me wrong. You can certainly do worse and we all know that its hard to get everything right with every person who gets there car serviced. After all we're only human.

Yep Westpoint are my Dealer...so far so good. Haven't actually recieved the car. Due date is the 12th Feb. So watch this space for an update.

Sorry for the late reply (farkin puter problems).

It's probably too late as you no doubt already know for yourself but anyway.

I have nothing but praise for the guy's & gal's at Westpoint the whole sale went through very professionaly there a great bunch of ppl, very friendly and courteous on all front's and quiet happy to answer any question's you might have regarding your purchase.

The only dealing's i've had with the service department at this stage was to get a ciggie lighter replaced so i cant help you there (was handled very well but and replaced on the spot :P )
