Good Luck with it mate, good to see someone giving it a go. It can be done, and has been done plent of times before. If it was me ild look at buying a complete motor, but what you have is good enough for a start.

I would seriously consider upgrading the front suspension while you are in there. Bushes and dampers anyway. The extra squirt really shows in the handling and not in a good way.

Yeah I'm not really holding out for trade prices as yet. I'm just looking for second hand gear before I go and get ripped off by ford at the moment. I'm not trying to make it a track car :3gears: haha. It is already lowered through pedders so will that do?

I looked for a motor but I need it to be Euro4 compliant so that it can get engineered.

Thread TLDR.

May have been said, but if all you're really wanting to turbo your NA over selling and buying a forced one, look into buying an Atomic built billet motor.

Gearbox and diff are probably a good idea too, not sure how the 5 speed would hold up.

Every single time I open a NA to turbo thread I see...."Just sell it and buy a XR6T". It's not that f*cking easy. In my case I'd wanna find another Velocity MKII with Premo leather and Premo Sounds.

Maybe not but it is the best option (asside from buying one in the first place). Most of the time the guys do a direct swap with all the bolt ons from a turbo then make less power then a standard ba turbo.
