agreed the GTR is a better machine but I wouldn't pay 150+ for a nissan no matter how good it was. when the used car value drops a bit lower though... :3 gears:

Awesome car is the GTR no doubt, but not really a direct comptitor to AMG/M series/Porsche etc - different cars, different quality, different buyers

True, not a direct competitor. many guys trade up from those cars to a GTR.

I'm not biased(lol).

My future son-in-law suggested I buy the AMG C63. I said no, trust me. After I got the GTR and demonstrated to him the 0-100 in 3.0 seconds launch the smile on his face was priceless, and then he was enlightened. Then again, I'm a turbo addict.

If you want something special and stand out you don't buy something based on garden variety cheaper versions.

You don't really look at a AMG, rather you hear it, and to most uneducated it will look like just another Merc.

I have much the same view of an M3.

Only problem with the GTR is that you need to be on a race track to really enjoy it. Driving around in normal traffic its 'soul less'. Know someone that had one and all he did was drive to and from work, so ended up selling it.

The C63 sounds horn even cruising around in traffic.
