Thinking of ordering from KPM. Cheersit will make the spool noise a little louder, no real performance gain. not as loud as a turbo side intake....or a bit of fly screen and a cable tie over the inlet of the turbo...

Wouldn't pay full price for one that's for sure. I got mine cheap second hand

I have a FG XR6T and I'm looking at doing my first mods. I'm going to go for a new intercooler and piping kit, fuel injectors, exhaust and the tune. I'm trying to cut as many costs as possible.I have looked into the plazmaman 700hp OEM replacement (will this one do the job?) and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in fitting this and the piping kit made for it? reading the description it seems quite straight forward as they say it bolts onto the factory mounting positions. If I can fit this myself it saves me $500 on labour. Also are there any places you guys would suggest in Perth other then BPT and Xtreme ford?Cheers

I was talking to a dude at the drags that had two engines blown up by sh*t tunes they've done and he said whatever you do never ever go to them. Bought myself a 2014 xr6t mkII ute a month ago. Just hit the 4k mark, going to wait a bit before doing any work so just doing some research. Curious though, no one has mentioned anything about upgrading the stock oil pump gears.. I've heard the factory gears are terribly fragile and doing burnouts with no mods or just giving it a fair bit after mods can cause them to.. well.. fail. Any thoughts/experiences with this?Cheers guys.
