This is all down to personal preferance, but I think that you should consider the stage 2 Process West intercooler.

The other thing to think about is a surge tank.

Injectors and Tune is all you really need and a highflow cat if you have a Pre 2011 FG, 2011 onwards you can remove the restricted area from the factory cat, and this will get you around 300rwkw

All that other stuff is not necessary.

Ok looking to finally mod my car with the following (fg ute auto)

Xcal 3 & tune

Transmission cooler and tune

Venom 100 cat

ID 1000 inj

Process west or plazmaman iintercooler & piping

Wot would be the likely end result (rwkw) and how much would be a reasonable price to pay

Cheers guys

Hi All,

My mate is wrecking his f6 fg, and I have a xr6t fg with some mods (I'd 1000, full exhaust) with 300rwkw. My question is apart from intercooler and slightly bigger Turbo from F6 what other parts are Better than xr6 turbo fg. Currently I'm changing my interior and brembos, and exterior parts. Any idea if the suspension or other parts are good?

Thanks

Howdy all,

Recently picked up a manual 2010 fg xr6 turbo ute with 60,000 on the clock.

Iv added a K&N panel filter but not sure where to go from here. Iv had a good read of this topic but was just throwing it out there to see what people would recommend. At this stage iv got around $1500 to spend. Should I go for the cold air intake and high flow cat? Or just wait and save a bit more cash and just do all the bells and whistles at once.

Cheers in advance for any feedback :)

For $1500 you could get a custom tune done. Should give you around 260-280 rwkw depending on dyno. If you want more than that though might as well save up and get it all done right the first time.
