I pulled 318.9kw with the stock fg turbo today at about 16psi. PW stage 1 stepped cooler, venom bolt on cat, 1000cc injectors, BMC pod filter / street fighter air box. *disclaimer - south australian

That sounds about right mrxd. I made 300rwkw on 14 PSI with

- F6 Intercooler

- Factory Update Cat with restrictor ported out.

- Factory Airbox and Filter (Modified)

Make no mistake the car is faster, but It's not amazingly faster.

It pulls Very hard Only when it's a cold night and the engine has to be cold too,

otherwise when engines warm dont really get that sucked back into seat feeling, I was thinking perhaps a Intercooler upgrade

may fix it but am thinking its simply how the car just drives at this power level.

Dyno Graphs still show improvements everywhere though so on normal days it feels like it's just got more pull all round, more like an improvement over the factory power.

I'm going to see if I can talk to my tuner to put more boost in for me for more pull when the car is accelerating

Wow..... Just read entire post. Where do you start?

Purchased a 2012 FG MkII in sexy Sunburst, only 15,000 on clock a week ago.

Heaps of awesome info on here but now I'm a little overwhelmed with what I should start with.

What can I get away with without having to jump on a dyno? I'm in Bathurst NSW and don't really trust any of the tuners here.

Thinking about collecting parts and heading to Sydney for the tune but interested in what I can get away with fitting myself before dyno tune.

Nearly purchased a x-force 4" dump system but might pass after what I have read from other members and how hard it is to tune with one on.

Just sold my bike and have about 4G's to spend in total but would like to source parts myself so I don't get ripped.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Without Tune only thing you can really do is Intercooler upgrade and Intake if you like.

Nizpro and Proccess west appear to be the most popular and reccomended,

I have noticed compared from when engine is cold and weather is cold compared to hot engine and hotter days the power

difference is huge so I'd say Intercooler would help in that respect to stop power dropping too much once you get going.

If going for Tune, Upgrade Catalytic Converter and rest of exhaust is fine for stock turbo.

If you want more power upgrade injectors when getting Tune done and use good quality injectors.

@Z2TT the car is plenty scary at 320rwkw. Maybe because I started at 250rwkw. I have a little bit of lag up to 60km/h but that is due to the intake muffler delete, then it takes off. Will put the muffler back on and go back for a touch up tune and I'll be happy enough, for the time being :)
