Cat back exhaust shouldn't be a worry to drive..

The turbo side air intake though I'm not sure about.

To try and make it a bit easier for new members to find out a bit about modding their new FG XR6 Turbo's I decided to make a bit of a "how to" thread based on the easiest and most common way people have been reaching certain power levels in there FG Turbos. (To be honest it's been a work in progress for the last 12 months or so...)

Now IMO I would class this as probably the easiest/cheapest/safest way to get into the 290-330 range, obviously there is a million ways to do it but I think this way will appeal to the most people, as we progress I can add more info on higher power levels or different routes if need be.

If anyone disagrees with what I've put or if I've forgotten something please feel free let us know, all feedback is welcome.

Cheers,

Dillz

Hi been reading through this thread. My car has about 122,000 ks on it I'm looking to replace the turbo and do some mods. My main question is has anyone heard or seen a GT3582R-X turbo from pro charge being used?

I plan on adding , process west intercooler kit, injectors + flash tuner, fuel pump and rear dump pipe and growler intake. Aswell as turbo oil feed line.

hey guys

finally picked up a 2012 fg xr6 turbo and absolutly love it.

its still stock though and was wondering what sort of simple but effective mods could be done without pissing ford off and not getting covered by warranty?

also there are so many different performance brands out their its hard to know witch one has the best name and reliablilty.

cheers.

stickers and not much else if you want to keep warranty, some will overlook filters and perhaps a sneaky tune but it's not advisable.

1. enjoy it stock if warranty is your thing.

2. If you want to play, you have to pay. Mod it to your hearts content and let warranty take care of squeaking seats and dud ambient temp sensors.

yeah was thinking that would be the case. might stick to the flash tuner so when it comes to warranty I can tune it back to stock.

what are they like about getting exhausts done?

if by exhaust you mean stickers, they are fine.
