im getting the tune bug, ive only had the car a month and already interested in getting a tune done. getting the ZF serviced in a few weeks might start putting cash away for injectors, cat and tune after that. the aftermarket wheels can wait.

The exhaust was $1400 and tune $500. Was tuned by Mark at Streamline performance in Warners Bay. Think he accessed all the work thru his laptop cause I bought a flash tune from intune and it was overboosting all the time with the engine light coming on! Think he said it was peaking at 21psi (way too much. was only meant to be 14psi) when it was on the dyno. So he started from scratch and tuned the thing really well. Ive done 2000kms in the last month and hasnt missed a beat.

that's a heap of power from just an exhaust and tune, good stuff none the less dude but that's crazy lol. enjoying the newfound power?

Yeah man its addictive. Tryin to get some good economy but struggling cause I cant help myself. Power and tourqe does flatten out around 4700rpm when its on song, but think that would be cause of injectors and intercooler still being standard.

Hey guys. I just had some work done on my 2011 fg turb ute. Cat back herrod exhaust with high flow cat, bigger injectors, and custom tune on SCT handcontroller. Running 15psi I got 273rwkw (was only using 95octane fuel, he thinks higher with 98) and 257rwkw on 12psi. Do you think the 300rwkw region is achievable on 98 octane if I move down south with these settings? I think the Darwin heat may be costing me some ponies?

You may be tuned to 273 in the ideal environment, with cold air blowing onto the car. Just driving out into the NT air I'd say your cooler would be copping some heat soak and wouldn't be running that power daily. Just my opinion though, may be wrong lol
