Hey guys,

Have a BF2 with premium sound.

Want to upgrade the fronts and rears with something slightly higher quality (without adding an amp

Going to chuck some splits in the front, however just wondering where I get a full range signal from, to hook into the new crossovers.

Is the crossover for the stock split setup inside the ICC, or is there a small factory crossover somwhere?

Or If I buy some new speakers, do I just not use the supplied crossover and reconnect to the factory wiring (not going to get the best out of the speakers doing this.

Rears will be straight forward.

Thanks,

Dave

You will find the full range speaker wires in the front kick panels.

It will be the same colors as either the tweeters or door speaker wires, cant remember.

If you follow the wiring up to your tweeters you will see where the 2 full range speaker wires turn to 4 (2 for tweeters, 2 for front door.

They dont run a proper crossover just a capacitor up near the tweeter.

that's correct , the icc output goes to the door and the tweeter , the tweeter just has a Capacitor across it as at High pass filter
