my auto is screwed, but it has nothing to do with the aps upgrade, it was screwed befor I had it fitted. flairing inbetween gears. The dealer I went to is so full of crap, blah blah cant look at it even if the problem occured befor the mods. said computer is giving out the wrong codes(they probably didnt even try). real good mechanics need codes to diognose black oil and chunks of metal in my oil pan. anyway I am getting a bit of relief for a 3 grand rebuild which is quite reasonable I think. I have taken it to C and V and they say alot of the parts going back into my box are being strengthened ill have a full list of which parts are upgraded when I get my car back. their orange car has also got a bloan gearbox so a full auto upgrade kit is under development as well.

I dont trust these autos in stock form so im much happier finding out my box isnt just being restored to FORD factory quality.

well anyway. Peter id rather wait now till my car is back becuase my auto has been stuffed for the whole time ive had my kit fitted.

but even with a shonkie auto the extra power for the price is awesome. engine reliability is perfectly fine, ill give you all my thoughts on the kit when im back in the beast.

Where did you get your brake upgrade that includes 330mm disks with 4 pot alcon calipers, mono blocks from and how much did they set you back.

One other thing I had to ask is how your trans is holding up.

What about your brakes.

I am sure one of your posts completely disappeared – must have occurred when the new lsp was being sourced.

Will look forward to reading your thoughts on the Phase II System when you have a good auto trans back in the car.

I’m positive the guys at C&V will be able to upgrade the auto trans to the best street spec possible – I remember well the trouble they went to when developing the auto trans for their WRX which had to cope with an awesome amount of torque – by memory that car ran low 9 second passes and the auto was very reliable – if not bullet proof.

If the auto shifts well you can expect a 12.50 pass with the Phase II System.
