Hi this is my first post.

I have a FG XR6T Ute. just wondering if anyone can help me get an estimate on power figure I will be looking at for my current upgrades ( still in process). Exhaust 3 inch straight through, Flash tuner, injectors,(move battery)airbox in its place.

I have spoken to some tuning workshops and got some really varied results, some say 260rwkw max, one shop said he could get me 350rwkw, (I highly doubt it). any info would be appreciated.

Cheers.

I think you've downsized your standard exhaust. Power wise I don't know. Most people would go from the standard exhaust to a 3.5" single or twin 2.5".

Dont bother with the 3" your better off going 3.5 as a minimum. I had a 3" straight through and its definately nowhere near as good as a 3.5 system, youll be changing it at a later date so might as well do it once, not twice.

Firstly, because everone else will say it too. 3" is to small. Just a cat in the Stock exhaust is fine.

Injectors, and tune anwhere from 260-280 depending on tuner/dyno

^ plus a Cat, around 300rwkw.

If your moving the battery, are you replacing cooler/piping too?

Cheers for the advice, I should clarify the exhaust thing. im doing this on a tight budget. and in stages. I have a 4 in 100cell cat which im flanging and putting in. from there it will be straight through 4 inch, however cant seem to find 4 in dump pipe for the right price. so it will remain standard for now. so I just said 3 inch for worst case senario (dump pipe reduces to 3 in). yeah im replacing the intercooler piping with larger size from turbo to manifold. im trying to get 300kw atw for $3000. misus set the budget :)

J.D made 304 Cat/injectors/tune in his FG.

In my BF2 I think it was $2200 for 303.

Tell your misses to get stuffed ! Shes getting her hair, nails and make up done right now, and just bought herself a new ring, all of which you won't notice !!

Injectors, cat and tune should do the trick, there was a pwr cooler kit on eBay the the week for 800 bucks, that would help ya get to around 315+++ mark, but more importantly help with heatsoak and added safety, if you can't afford that, I would recommend at least replacement cooler piping, standard ones are fail.

Hi Mate

If your on the East side of Brissy maybe BPS (Bayside performance), on the northside RDP (Real Dyno Performance), on the westside Elite Automotive.

There is a few down the Gold Coast way too.

Just some suggestions.
