A bigger cam will not see the same gains as different components in the same price range.After 8 or so years there are proven methods to modding these cars which you should follow.If you want a big lumpy cam at idle get an LSx motor... If the guy wants to spend his money let him FFS..Go to Atomic Performance website, they have a few cam types and they are suited to our cars..I had a cam in my old VS V6, and loved it, sounded tuff and when it kicked it was like having a midget turbo lol.. I picked up about 20rwkw changing for BA cams to FG cams. The later model cams help the engine not to lay over at the upper rev range.
