Two new ones for me:

- high pitch noise when travelling above 120km/h (discovered recently on private road testing :kissmy:). Comes and goes at 120, but fairly consistent noise once you reach 130 or so. Only seems to have started after 15K service.

Ani,went for a spirited drive yesterday(private roads also :nyaah: )and after a bit of twisty stuff I now have this noise from my windsceen from 130k's to 160 Wasn't there before the twisty stuff so maybe I distorted the screen thru the twisty's

It's an absolute b**ch to listen to :ta:

Should be fun though taking the service manager for a spin to show him the problem

Is that a windscreen whistle JB? Sounds like a fun drive (twisted the windscreen :o )!

Mine seems to come more from the dash area... and sounds 'electronic' in origin (ie. no windscreen whistle).

My arm rest also creaks, took the bloody thing apart, what a sh!t design,it has to creak..It has a plastic brake shoe type thingie that ,when opened the lid rubs on this and the resistance of the thingie holds up the lid.

so in other words once the plastic wears out,no more creaking.

I took out the brake thingie(slides out)no noise but dont stay open which aint that bad.

Yeah I thought it was from the dash too at first as it's not a whistle but sounds sort of like cb distortion (hard to explain)but I am pretty sure it's from the windscreen.top left hand side

Yeah had the whole car twisted up at stages :innocent:

Went into limp mode this morning on startup, 8:30am, girlfreind drove out to dinner last night so it wasnt driven hard. This morning just reversed out the drive rolled down the hill sloted it over to sequntial mode went to push the thottle and no power running rough and engine light on, went another 100m or so just crawled over the hill, pulled over switched it off for a min then started up ok, seams fine now but I guess I should take it in get em to look at the logs and flash it with latest firmware.

Rang Ford to have it looked at and he said theres no problem, reason why the car went into limp mode is I reveresed out the driveway and rolled down the hill with out putting my foot on the accelerator, so the computer saw the car doing 30kmh and no one had touched the throttle so it thinks their is something wrong and goes into limp mode.

Havent had any problems since so I guess it sounds plausable, will have to try it again to prove that was the actual cause will let you know if I can reproduce it, or try it out your self see if you get the same result.
