Update yes it is reproduceable, I can make the T go into limp mode any time by reversing out the driveway then rolling down the hill with slight breaking, engine light comes on after rolling about 25 meters.

The red rubber (?) strip around the top of my Momo Gear Knob has broken and is gradually peeling off!

Dont get a manual... although I can drive the vehicle without making TOO much noise, it just shouldnt shunt & backlash. Ive had 2 replacment diff's and it is still clanking & backlashing.. its a discrace on Ford's part really.. when you pay 64k for a BRAND NEW car, you expect a reliable, quiet drive shaft!

last time im buying a ford...

Hi all,

I have got my car booked in tomorrow for a Oil leak and also a Engine Coolant leak. I thought I had stuffed the sump when I went over a speed hump I didn't see but I seen under the car yesterday and there is no damage at all to the sump or any other componants. I got a SS induction kit fitted yesterday :spoton: , and when they had to move the power steering module they showed me a sample of the oil in it and it had a kind of brassy/glittery sediment in it, quite polluted with it. I am really not happy at the moment with my dealership as this is an ex-demo and supposed to be in perfect condition!

BULL:pooh:

Broken gearbox.

Broken diff probably caused by the lock when the diff broke.

rattling exhaust. (heatshields)

broken drivers seat frame.

clicking steering rack.

oh and some pimply face apprentice from ford crashed into it in the service driveway :gooff:
