Ive had 2 replacment diff's and it is still clanking & backlashing.. its a discrace on Ford's part really.. when you pay 64k for a BRAND NEW car, you expect a reliable, quiet drive shaft!last time im buying a ford... I thought I had stuffed the sump when I went over a speed hump I didn't see but I seen under the car yesterday and there is no damage at all to the sump or any other componants. I got a SS induction kit fitted yesterday , and when they had to move the power steering module they showed me a sample of the oil in it and it had a kind of brassy/glittery sediment in it, quite polluted with it.
