I love the BA, especially after DynoSteve gave her a few more horses but the minor problems, especially the damn shuddering, IS DRIVING ME NUTZ!!!It's back....arrrrgggghhhh. spin Member 15 Member For: 21y 1m 11d Location: Melbourne Posted 22/11/03 02:18 PM Share Posted 22/11/03 02:18 PM I posted this problem somewhere else today but just in case some of you wont see it there.... I have had my vaccume hoses 'blow off' twice already. The stock clips are pretty pathetic, or maybe it's just mine. Worth looking into as it's cheap to fix better clips/attatchments to the hoses

Just came back from the dealers with two new (driver-side) centre caps for my mags. One fell off in the garage a few weeks back. Had 2 broken plastic clips, and then another fell off on the driveway just last week. Again with broken clips. Dealer was a little surprised when I could produce both caps, but then happily replaced them under warranty. He said that he's seen it happen once before on another XR.Anyone else? (or 2nd as the service guy stated).Believe me, I wish that was my only problem with the BA. I will simply have to bite the bullet and get some DBA's. Yep, sorry, standard 17's ... and given that this is the ONLY problem I've had in nearly 12000 klms, I'm a very happy (lucky) camper.
Falchoon I see red Member 5,758 Member For: 22y 17d Location: nowhere in particular Posted 01/12/03 04:27 AM Share Posted 01/12/03 04:27 AM The centre cap on one of my wheels (18") was a bit loose the other day and rattling a bit. I mentioned it to the dealer when I took it in for service and they have ordered a new one but it doesn't make the noise anymore since it's come back from service. Comes and goes at 120, but fairly consistent noise once you reach 130 or so. Only seems to have started after 15K service.- lid on centre arm-rest/CD storage area makes a horrible cracking noise when lifted all the way open.
