I have had the front disks machined twice at 12000k and at 25000k they were replaced at 32000k my vehicle now has 46000k+ with a slight shudder under very light braking. I will be bring this up with my dealer when it goes in for the overdue 45000k service.

Picked up my car on Saurday 120km later I had it on a friends hoist to fit the muflaps which don't line up with the holes on the rear of my ute by the way, anyway noticed leaking transmission fluid. With this surging problem I noticed this morning that when I started it the tacho was moving up and down continually, is this what is happening to you guys, any info would be helpful. Another point which might explain alot is that the guy who did the PD is a friend and he said my ute has the old computer in it, there has been a "hardware" upgrade this may explain the surging?

There is a new computer flash update.

It will fix the surging problem.

When I used to put my gear into reverse, it would go up and down between 500rpm and 750 rpm.

The update has fixed it.

Stuff Wrong with my car so far (XR6NA)

Paint chipping off on the driver's side silver air vent

Steering shakes a little when driving on highways

stitching coming off on the passenger side front seat

scratch passenger side door frame

dent on front of bonnet

scratches on the back bumper

scratches on the back passenger side wheel

loose bumper on back passenger side

loud clucking noises coming from back of car when going over bumps

radio reception is not so good

paint smudge on driver side back door frame

large scratch on drivers side scuff

steering sometimes pulls to left when braking

none of these are real important but are worth a mention

Clocked up 1400 kms after a couple of weeks driving and nothing really a bother except for a wheel vibration and like XRSICKT I've also got a loud metal noise over small bumps at low speeds too. Dunno what that is but that's about all really. Oh and some tool keyed the left hand front guard while being parked at Roselands shopping centre.....death to the knob that did it..........death to all that vandalise our vehicles..........ok I'm losing it now..................... ;)

AMEN..........People slamming their doors into the side of your car is a piss off as it is......Let alone absolute %&@#!$ deliberately defacing these beauties simply because they are jealous or simply do not possess the brain cells to do anything constructive with their time.

I'd assume a large number of us take great pride in out vehicles. To see wilful destruction performed on your pride and joy really is heart breaking.

My front passenger door is destroyed. 2 dints from a wayward plank of wood on the 'Gateway Arterial". The dints cannot be pulled out so I'm up for $600+ to fix the damn thing!!! (Mind you the car was only looking "A1" for a week as the damage on our rear bumper by some %^@!$# running into it in a car park was just fixed)!!!!!

Hmmm..not to mention an additional 'door crime'......Some &*#^%&@%$ bumping their door into ours. From now on I'll be in the shopping car park armed with a sawed off shotgun and a tyre iron me's thinks!

Leave our cars alone!!! Some of us are not all that better off than the people doing the defacing of our property in the first place.

After my little whinge, here's hoping it is fixed to your satisfaction with the greatest of speed and at little cost.
