I can hear the injectors tapping away like a VN commodore. On the holdens it was an issue with the fuel pipe not being secured and rubber isolated. Has anyone had this issue. Is there a fix? ratter Member 6,793 Member For: 18y 8m 12d Gender: Male Location: @ my laptop Posted 09/07/11 04:19 AM Share Posted 09/07/11 04:19 AM On VN's the noise was not the injectors making the noise, it was fuel line hammer and the fuel hoses were modified to stop/help the noise transferring through the firewall, later cars had a dampner fitted, basically the injectors when closing would send a shock wave back through the fuel line, with the positioning of the lines near the firewall, this shockwave could be heard as fuel line hammer.
