Why do Ford insist on spoiling the owenership experience with such annoying little probems.

It may be the best new car I've owned but it's had the most build quality issues I've ever come across on a new car.

Will let you know how it goes.

Mine was dripping since its march purchase, 1 drop a day or so. This week its been fixed, big job rear suspension out. at the same time my handbrake got the dragging noise fix, now I'm really happy & going like whoosho.

:( Welcome to the world of the CLAYTONS performance vehicle. I'm still wondering who copped the sling at motor magazine. My T cost me just over 60 grand on the road, I'm so impressed that at 7000klm I'm copping a $12300 to get rid of the thing. To Ford I say :banghead: :kissmy::censored: .I've got a GT-P on order, I hope instead of just building it, that they actually put some true R&D into this one. Then again perhaps some of us just end up with the proverbial Monday Car

Hey Scotty.

What did they do to fix the parkbrake noise business. My dealer has had three goes. 2 weeks ago they guarantedd me it was fixed. Still had the freaking noise driving out of the service division.

Strike a light. Its almost enough to make a bloke drink Tooheys........Pteeww.....Well maybe not.

Mack

I spent most of my life in good old QLD, so was raised on XXXX. As a consequence I nursed many a day suffering from "the mother of all hangovers" therefore in my twisted mind XXXX = P#ss

So Id rather a Tooheys or 2 any day. BOA make it a Boags Strong Arm Bitter..............now that's better.

Took the car in for them to look at on Saturday, first they told me it would need to be rebooked to fit a new diff but they would check out the knock I was getting from the rear suspension. When I came back to pick it up they tell me it was just a loose breather pipe on the diff and should now be ok.

Being the untrusting person that I am, I stuck my head under there this morning, looks to me like all they have done is smear some black silicone around the place. So far it has not leaked but I'm just wondering if that's an acceptable fix?

Doesn't sound all that acceptable to me... Sounds like a patch to avoid the time and cost of some warranty work.

I believe that if YOU aren't happy then take it back. If it all seems OK and YOU don't care then don't worry. It all comes down to what you think really...

My 2 cents.
