its going to be manual, I 15k I was dreaming but realistically I can spend 20-25k

I have noticed that utes tend to hold their value, so the ute BLKPHN is a good find?

whats wrong with the capa gear? I havent really heard anything about it, just curious

There is better gear for the money. As I said, speak to the tuner and see what they recommend as there will be very little mods in terms of power that you can do without a re-tune. Best to do it properly the first time...

If you are going manual get a BA MkII so you get the 6spd and factor in a new clutch. As soon as u wind it up you will cook the clutch. Mal Wood option 3 are about $1500 not fitted, it will support what you want to do and the car will still be extremely streetable. If you are going higher than 350rwkw consider an option 3+ or option 4, and a stronger bottom end.

For the price of the CAPA kit you have numerous options. XCAL3, HDI cooler, injectors, cat, fuel pump and a tune I am guessing would bring the total to somewhere around the price of the CAPA kit. Also throw an F6 intake on for good measure.
