The territory should be no different, but do not think it will help any transfer case/chain issues, not sure what control they will have on that

Sorry henz, they will not, unfortunately you manual owners may be unemployed now as you will not have to clean them anymore :stirthepot:

Mick have you run bels car up on the dyno

John told me there was less slippage or something and on their car it made 10rwkw more tuned!

Also have you noticed that the car feels less rubbery and more direct in it's drive and more responsive?

Any way I'm waiting for you to nut it out and then I'll be back for a new tune and ZF tune too...

Currently the accredited Herrod SCT ZF Transmission tuners can adjust the following characteristics of the 6HP26 transmission –

 

-​TCM based vehicle speed limiting

-​Shift schedule, which allows changing transmission shift points and how long the

​vehicle holds onto each gear in all transmission modes

-​Kick-down sensitivity

-​Change of shift pattern for differential gear changes

-​Manual mode downshifting

-​Eliminate holding second gear till standstill

-​Adjust torque converter stall settings

-​On-coming and Off-going clutch shift behaviour for built transmissions

-​Running Line Pressure for high power applications

-​Shift pressure per shift event based on actual gear

-​Maximum shift time and amount of slip for each shift

-​All of these pressure and time/slip settings are discrete for up-shift and downshift

-​Torque limits for general transmission operation

-​Torque reduction for each shift event

-​Maximum transmission torque capability for built transmissions

-​Torque characteristic to adapt for different viscosity transmission fluids

 

This is a brief point form description of the kind of effects and results that can be achieved via adjustment and calibration of the several hundred files in the transmission

So I would have to get the engine tuned then get the transmission tuned to suit the power of the engine! is that right and I guess a-lot of people would ask is,"whats a reasonable amount to charge for the transmission tune"? Im just unsure but pretty excited that I've got an auto that can now be even more perfected and hopefully not break like a lot of peoples.
