Good video on Daniel's bushes mine have been fitted at around 3000 klm on my 2010 fg f6 manual and my diff clunking became obvious with the new bushes. I only replaced them to stop axle tramp and because the manual cars really explode compared to auto cars I suppose if I fitted the new factory bushes you get rid of the noise but once they soften up after a few thousand k's get ready for axle tramp. The diff are rubbish in fg's and Daniel has a rebuilt diff in his car that's why its quiet.

What type of oil did you use in the diff? I used Mainlube and I want to try something else.

My rear centre bush is cracked.. Not even bothering going to Ford for a replacement under warranty, fitting K-mac bushes centre and 2 side bushes on Wednesday, fingers crossed, these look like some heavy duty bushes!!

How did you get on with the K-mac bushes mate?

I used the full synth castrol stuff SAF-XA which is also for lsd's. I'll have to rebuild the diff though as the noise will eventually drive me crazy... Bring on a Moser wavetrac I say!

You're right about the manuals being hard on the diff's. My diff used to tramp so hard the thing sounded like it was coming through the rear floor pan! Wet or dry weather made no diff! Its awesome now

So I ended up fitting superpro race sides with a comfort centre, stopped all the tramp I was having. Been in for 2 weeks and have already split the centre. They are perfectly quite though. Might have to bite the bullet and fit a solid center, then break the bolt, then the hat, then the cradle.

Great video.

Can I ask what you type of camera you used and how you mounted it. I would like to make a couple similar myself.

Thanks.

I used my gopro 3. Stuck a mount to the spare wheel tub

I reckon these will be quiet. I think all my noises that I've been complaining about with the CAT600 bushes have been diff related...

I don't think you can go wrong with his bushes. With his outers being so solid, the middle had very little preload on it and hence won't break the bolt.

I can't see the difference between superpro race sides and the cat sides. With the superpro have 2 small voids and that's it. I think I just need to stiffen up the centre a tad more to get the setup right between firmness and longevity.

Hi guys

Just had the diff bush replaced with a solid one and all other bushes in the rear end done too. Now just on take off I can hear clunking in the back of the car the mechanic said it was the diff was on it way out. But then I took it to the ford dealership and they say nothing is wrong with it. ??? Could this be the backlash or what.
