Hey guys,

A mate of mine has just got himself a plenum and cooler which has been hit with a coat of black paint, but its looking average and he wants it powdercoated.

Anybody know the best way to strip it off the plenum an cooler? the piping can just be hit with a can again.

I heard paint stripper will do it but might cause the surface to oxidise or something?

The place that does the powder coating would possibly also do sand or bead blasting which would be one way.

So what's this "mates" name?

His names nunya.

Can coolers be powdercoated or is it best to hit them with a can of paint?

also keen to know if coolers can be powdercoated - I'm guessing they would lose some of there cooling potential
