Went to the motorshow last week and saw the intake on a supercharged GT. Cold air intake into a pod filter. Would you be able to put this intake on a FG Xr6T?? The only issues I could see would be that the GT has a bonnet bulge and the Xr6T doesnt so there might be a clearance issue with the top of the intake. Also the pipe from the pod filter looks to be much larger than that of the Xr6T. Any thoughts???

This has been asked a few times now but don't think anyone has tried. Fpv would want some crazy amount of money for one and the aftermarket ones are better, so why would you bother?

I called Ford and it comes in two parts - front part is $93.30 and back part is $100.30. The filter is 157.10.. Total $350.70. A friend of mine knows a guy at ford so at a trade price it would probably be under $300.

I'm going to make an early call and say it won't fit because of the length of the 6

But if it does please post up the part numbers

Combined with a $120 k&n from herrod it's a cheap cai, probably sound loud on the turbo too

I'd say so, bout 99% sure it won't fit without modification just by looking at it. But interested to see someone have a crack.

I've heard that too Tab. Some dealers might be more nervous than others to sell FPV parts. As I was informed that FPV some times calls the registered owner to the vin that's supplied, to confirm the owner has the part and is happy with it, told this by panel beater mate too. Rare occasions they'd call I'm sure. Keen to see. Tried to convince someone selling raffle tickets for a gs at a shopping center, to borrow intake and leave my wallet and phone to go and try and fit the intake to check. Was worth a shot. :nono:
