Me too. I'd buy one.

But this time I will only hand over the cash after a thorough inspection and test drive. nothing to do with the Motor. All to do with Ford.

If it threw a rod it would not drive "Fine" as old mate stated. They're forged rods and would do a hell of a lot of damage if he drove ti with a thrown one slapping around. A forged rod will beat a cast case every day and it would be bringing sunlight to the sump if it was a jiggy jigging.

It could be as simple as an oil pump to the teeth not meshing perfect in the charger.

My bet is Ford gave him a new car and slapped him with a confidentiality clause to go with the new car.

Fellows there is a reason I have not said much on the forums my solicitor has advised me not to say to much particular negative I would not want a case of defamation on my hands.

to give you guys a update FPV have acknowledged there is a problem. there is another guy in the same situation as me both of us have sought legal advice.

so far I have had a diff replaced, steering rack repaired, two pcv valves replaced, a new cat, rear brake was leaking and replaced and a power steering switch replaced.

and I only noticed yesterday that the new diff is leaking oil.

when I get confirmation from FPV on exactly what's wrong with the motor I will fill u guys in. I would not want to scare any one off buying a new GT I think this is a isolated issue.

01txr, Your comments are noted and I acknowledge your point,I probably did jump the gun with making such a premature diagnosis, which was based on a prior experience.(stock car)

I agree lets see what Ford says.

At the end of the day, I just hope that everything works out for the best for cranny.

Cranny - who's your solicitor, does he/she have a law degree? lol.

Telling the truth and stating fact (with reasonable comment/opinion with no proof of damage) is not, and never will be defamation. If so I would be a billionaire!

In any case, no-one can help you on here, only Ford can - so focus on that :spoton:
