My parents had an orange Ford Capri in the mid-70s!

You can stay at my place..Only if the capri had stripes...

The four seasons in one day didn't appear to occur during my November visit!

Orange Capri has long gone - don't think it had any stripes on it (I was only about 3 at the time). Last Capri my father had was a black 2.8 Injection Special with LSD and Recaro seats. He kept it for six years. Changed to an XJS 4.0 straight six 5-spd manual...

He has a Triumph Vitesse MK2 convertible that he has owned from new.

Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast is where it's at

'It' being floods that wipe half of the state out and hurricanes blowing the other half off the face of the planet with wet seasons that melt you in your jocks....

yeah been a wild year 2011 but 24 deg today, mid winter, cool nights for sleeping, then hot as hell in summer where sea temp is up near 30 deg ! bloody love it ! :beerchug:

Beats lateral rain and -20c windchill and 120 days of rain and sh*tey weather any fricken day !

I done 6wks roughing it on the breacon beacons (welsh mountains for the aussies) in november 89. spate river crossings where the banks were 3ft deep in snow wearing 60lb+ bergen+ SLR and river temp wouldnt be much above freezing. slept in forest floor and trenches for 6wks. happy f*cking days ! :yes-sir: And while the mountainous areas of Wales and Scotland are beautiful, They're not much fun at times ! :crybaby:

'It' being floods that wipe half of the state out :blaah:

Under 5% of properties effected by a one in 100 year flood in Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coasts copped essentially nothing.
