As mentioned above that fault can come up for all kinds of other faults. I took the car to a mechanic and he pulled the turbo out and fixed a few other minor things in the process and fitted the new actuator.So simple, after all the dramas I went through with Ford and the other 'tuners' - all for just 4hrs work.
