Okay this is my fault, in response to your question will my speedo be right my answer is misleading, answer is Yes, Speed is derived from The rear abs sensors, not the trans out put speed

I read your question as will diff gears affect my speedo hence No, Speed is derived from The rear abs sensors

The abs sensors provide wheel speed info to the abs module which sends a signal to the PCM/Cluster

If you change diff gears it wont affect your speedo, if you change your tyre size it WILL affect your speedo.

oh and 3.45's will make your car very very sluggish in 1st,2nd and 3rd. I went from 3.45's to 4.09 and it was two low. 3.73 is the best match for the gearbox.

3.45 is only 8% higher than 3.73 so your crusing rpm @ 100kph will drop aprox 160rpm. If you want better fuel economy @ cruise get it tuned

If the answer is yes speed is derived from the rear abs sensors, why did you write no speed is derived from the rear abs sensors?

160rpm doesnt really seem worth it at all, I cant tune my car becuase it's got no VIN number in the computer.
