Fg Ute With Sports Bar - Whats The Best Tonneau Option?

hey guys,

just picked up an FG work ute and need a tonneau or cover of some description.. are there any after market tonneaus that allow for the sports bar? seen some ford ones online for about $300 which is still robbery for a bit of canvas and plastic so looking for any advice on best place to buy or aftermarket??? theres SFA second hand ones about..

anyone taken a normal non-sports bar one to the trimmers and had it modded to suit?? might be the best option me thinks

I'm curious about this too, was debating whether to get sports bars fitted, but too have the standard soft cover.

I just brought and fitted some genunie BA-BF model sports bars and a tonneau came with them and couldn't be happier. The guy said the genunie is better as apparently the aftermarket tonneau use a button on method at the front instead of the plastic clip. Dont know what fg is like.

FG uses a lip on the tub and the tonneau has a plastic rail that clips into it the lip if that makes sense.. if it was like BF with the bungee loops would be easy as!!

might ring some places and see what its worth to get a custom one made up or standard one modded to suit the sports bar.. feck payin ford rrp!!

Should still be as easy to retain the plastic clip rail side, do they have the bungees under the cover like the Expensive Daewoo utes? What I was getting at was that an aftermarket one may use buttons like they apparently do in the BF. Even the BF has a velcro section around the tube between bungees, no reason you couldn't have the same on the fg rail.
