thread title should be changed to either A, maximum power before blowing up or B, maximum power for good reliability....both of which are really subjective. As is everything really..

Keeping in mind that was his test mule and got driven incredibly hard, Also that car only ever saw the dyno once from memeory for tuning as those were the early days when dave started out.

That car did go to a dyno day that I attended. Punched out over 600hp from memory. The video is on youtube but doesnt show much. Ive talked to Dave before, even when he had his first blue BA. Great guy to talk to.

ha ha the car would not make it off the dyno in one peice...

if you tried to squeeze that kind of power.

I wass pushing 385rwkws out of a ba 5 speed. clutch lasted one dat box one week moter one month,

and it was tuned by arguebley the best tuner in oz.

Seeing you have a five speed, I would throw on a redback twin 2.5 for a bit of noise. A K + N filter in the std air box with typhoon lower intake. Try and score a BA BF F6 cooler and get it flash tuned to 240 - 250 rwkw and enjoy.

I wold do what some of the guys said on the first page, then again I was warned and told to keep away from the BA as the BF II is a much more better motor seel the car you have buy a BF II and you won't look back.
