I've not seen any ready made gauge holders that would fit there either.Have you thought about 2 gauge cup on top of the steering column? Very easy too see and very easy to install. I currently have my boost and Wideband gauges mounted there Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/75433-tissue-tray-gauge-pod/#findComment-1116088 Share on other sites

Doesn't look in your traffic accident report when you admit to looking down at the guages (which you will!) before you ran up the rear-end of a 1982 Datsun...Get a tripod guage holder. I rarely look at it though, it's only for on the line. Kicks it down there with my stubby holder for 40 degree days when you can't touch the gear stick. Where did you did the steering column gauge holder from????? There must be a good place that is viewable and easy to install. I thought about laser cutting a plate to hold the gauge in but the plastic tray would need to be cut into. Mine hits boost harder than I hit my Mrs, needed the extra swing. It's not as bad as the one I saw with a 5" boost gauge! Two screws and a bit of foam to stop any squeaks. The roll cage mounts have a small groove pressed into them to help align them with the tube, this sits very nicely on the corner radius of the top steering column shroud Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/75433-tissue-tray-gauge-pod/#findComment-1116410 Share on other sites
