Does that still seem high usage?

(our work Territory's are the same) As I said, none of my mates can get 8s and they have done their own figures as their usage seemed higher than Ford claimed. But if you guys think you are getting 8s, and in fact if you actually are due to tuning or whatever, that's fine! Seeing as I finished primary school and I reset my trip meter every time I fill up, I find it pretty easy to figure out the economy without the computer. You'd need to do about 800km in a sedan to get 8.5L/100km over the whole tank. Rubberman Member 37 Member For: 14y 3d Gender: Male Posted 02/11/12 05:48 AM Share Posted 02/11/12 05:48 AM my best so far is 7.8ltr I do a lot of country driving, roxby downs back to adelaide but as an average mid/high 8's. As far as k's out of a half a tank of 98 octane 415.3ks the balance of that tank was mid 600k's. F6 is stock. Its white so maybe that's the reason hehehe

Most of the time it sits around 8.5L to around 9.0L/100kmBut obviously when I put the boot down those numbers go right out the window! Besides, I didn't buy it for the fuel economy, if you want good mileage..buy a prius!

Big Dazza Member 33 Member For: 15y 4m 20d Posted 22/12/12 01:44 AM Share Posted 22/12/12 01:44 AM Mine has done 50,000 k's with avg 11.1 on computer. 85% highway/m'way.When I had it tuned recently the usage jumped up about 0.5 l/100 klm. This means the computer only averages the consumption over a predetermined recent window, not from the time the computer was zeroed.
