I am at 92kg currently and need to get down into the mid 80`s, I`ll do that and in a couple months I`ll be starting to think about going right through the forks and shock. Prolly an Ohlins kit in the front, revalve and new oil front and rear.

At 92KG you'll definately need front springs as a minimum. Valving is a bit slow but manageable.

Is that 92kg with your gear on or without?

Hey bike nuts need some advice.

Really considering getting a bike as a bit of a daily as I hate driving the G6 everywhere (especially building sites and in the city all the time) and want to try and keep the kays down abit too.

Was gonna get just a cheap 250 but a friend of mines looking at selling her Kawasaki 750 like this one I think as she never rides it. http://www.bikesales...id=130D0310E533

Probably a bit big for a first bike but its cheap and I know it would of been looked after so what do you think? I know F all about anything with less then 4 wheels.

Will have too get my licence, was thinking of just taking off the 750 stickers ;)

Don't see the point in having to buy one now then another one full licence.

Whats wrong with a full fairing bike?

This is why I like QLD.. Thought about getting my license but it was pointless cause under 25 I would've had to have a year on restricted license..

2 days after turning 25 I tested for my restricted license.. a week later I tested for unrestricted.. VB%20Beer.gif

(It's worth noting that the testers only came to the town I was in once a week and I wasn't allowed to test on the same day).

Ok in Victoria it seems your allowed 660cc as long as it's under 150kw per ton?

If the bike currently has too much power enquire with the local dealer/mechanic about a restriction chip or something? Cause Suzuki sells the GSX-F (650cc I think) with an option if you're on a restricted license..

post-42877-0-95421200-1317186194_thumb.jDillz as a first bike I think it's a little fast for you. why don't you look at a DRZ400 supermotard. About $5000 secondhand and a great traffic splitting bike. My badboy matches the SS in color. Edited by pazzo xr6t
