I had considered selling the Typhoon, that's still a very real possibilty if I keep doing sh*t like I did today.. I crawled inside a screen deck clogged with sand and 7mm gravel with a 2 inch high pressure hose, was in there for 45-50 mins up to my waist. Was kind of fresh when I got out, I had spare clothes.Kid at work with an R1 says just start medical insurance, sit out the wait and get `er done. that's got traction too.I never wanted another bike, now I want one five minutes ago. But when your not on the track...... they can be hard work. Hard to stay under 160. Hard on the knees and back. An hour on one and I need a break. My knees are stuffed and the feet start going numb.I don't even rego the Ducati anymore. It's my track weapon. I'm fifty this year and don't have to have the latest and greatest. And I still think the 998 was the ultimate. The Viffer is my road fun. You can ride it all day with no worries. No Pain. And with those Leo's it sounds as good as anything. V's just have that throbbing note like no other. And they will do well over 100,000 K's with only two valve checks and regular oil changes. You can pick up an 07/08 for nine grand or less.
