I had a real blast this morning. Its my 8th Yamaha. I`m really enjoying it, but I`m only a fortnight out from my surgery on both knee`s. I went out to buy a 15 dollar exercise bike from lifeline and came home with a grands worth of downhill mountain bike. lol I flipped it 4 days after surgery. I plan on giving both of them what for as time progresses.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 20/08/11 12:27 AM Share Posted 20/08/11 12:27 AM K&N filter, a set of Leo carbons and a PC3 and the mid range improves dramatically. Love the sound of the big banger motors and the Leo's brings that out sensationally. After a 1,000k'sis a good time to do the sags on your suspension too.Needs a tail tidy too

I plan on getting myself back up to spec before I attack the suspension, I alreay know it`s gonna need a few pounds more front spring atleast.I am at 92kg currently and need to get down into the mid 80`s, I`ll do that and in a couple months I`ll be starting to think about going right through the forks and shock. Prolly an Ohlins kit in the front, revalve and new oil front and rear.Once I get the pipes I will most assuredly get it tuned to clean it up. The cross plane engine isn`t reeeeeally a big bang engine but it`s a catchy phrase. The tech has been around a while too.But GRUNT! Holy dooley bottom end and mid range its just bulltwang. The sound and feel of the engine was what sold me. I just liked the whole package really. Weather good tomorrow morning I`ll be off up the hills, this really is fun.
