Was cleaning the inside, yes inside of my zorst tip this arvo, then looked at the rear of the muffler and though, that looks a bit crap. Started cleaning it, cut my finger on the weld dags, got window cleaner in the cut - swore a bit. Once I'd wiped the blood off and sorted myself I though yeah, still no good. So out came the autosol and polished her up. Looks pretty good actually except then I remembered I'll probably get rid of it soon with the retune - what a dick!

So it got me thinking, what is the stupidest thing I've done to one of my cars? Many things actually, but was interested to her other stories so I'll go with today's effort, lol.

With my first car, I was getting annoyed at some creaking sounds coming from the head unit while driving over bumps.

I couldn't use CRC to lube it for obvious reasons... So I found some of my dads graphite powder he used for gun lubrication and went to town with it in all the joints.

CD player didn't work properly again.

AND the creaks were never stopped!

:roflmbo: . Yeah my Mum used to fold up the old man's business cards and shove them in dash joins etc to stop rattles. Couldn't belive it recently when I got in her 1 series BMW and sure enough - a folded up card shoved in a bit of trim, lol.
