As the globe holder hole is in the top of the headlight.Tried using blutack on a chopstick to get it out - no luck.Just working out if its a front bar off job to remove the headlight. Any other car I`ve ever owned, like a modern car, apart from the two BF fords I currently own, you undo 3 or 4 ten mil bolts, unclip the wire plug and the headlight assembly is in your hands. The Ford, yeah nah.. Take your time, allow plenty of it, and if you think you might be able to get with out taking something off under there, think again and take it off..Cause it won`t come off.. Its a bastard of an idea, frankly.

_John_ Member 287 Member For: 14y 4m 21d Gender: Male Posted 13/06/11 02:46 AM Share Posted 13/06/11 02:46 AM I`ve got a globe in one side of the headlight ONCE! without removing the whole assembly :(Worst thing was my ute, the tip of the wire retainer had broken off, ford don`t sell them you need to scavenge one from the wreckers. I scrounged some at work in the truck graveyard but I found that if I removed the whole assembly I could re use the broked one.Anyone who can get in there to fit all the globes with the headlight in situ is more flexible / has smaller hands than me.Hope you can jag it.
