Lol...I just checked the price of the 'copied' version (xspurt injectors) of the Injector Dynamics (ID) range.

Just compare the websites alone:

http://www.xspurtinjectors.com/

http://www.xspurtinjectors.com/why-choose-xspurts

http://www.injectordynamics.com/

http://www.injectordynamics.com/injectors.html

Can you tell who the brains are behind these injectors??

Given the price, technical knowledge base, supplied calibration data and support......give me the ID's anyday!

Are the injector dynamics worth the extra coin? I got a price for both the bosch ev14 1000's and the injector dynamics ID1000's.. $860 for 6 ID1000's with adaptor plugs to $570 for the bosch ones does that sounds about right?? Thanks

As a reference I paid $735 USD delivered with adaptors and hats for the ID1000's 18 months ago. The price hasn't changed.

Injectors online have the xspurts for 150+GST each undelivered. That's my only reference though and given your quote probably not a good one!

An injector probably has the tightest tolerances of any mechanical component in your car....this is why I'm an@1 about injectors and happy to pay for the best.

Having said that I only have a 25micron filter (was on e85) screening the fuel atm...better get off my ar$e and put a 10 micron back in!

Have a look at the tip of the EV-14's if it's got a butchered director plate rather than a 'bullet' looking head then stay well clear of them. The unmolested 52lb'ers are ok though.

Where did you get your injectors from Ben? I am contemplating ditching my deka's and grabbing some ID's or Xspurt 1000's for a while now
