Hey everyone,

Thought I'd start this for all us ute drivers to help out with info when getting or trying to get airbags.

So if anyone who has them can post their model ute and the part number and type of bag they have that'd be great.

By load leveling are you referring to actually issues with carrying large loads or just purely for cosmetic lowering?

As in the airbags from polyair which level the ute once loaded, not airbags instead of shocks or springs etc.

I installed Polyair's on my FG sedan when I lowered it. Main reason is I tow a boat and I'd have issues reversing the boat up the driveway, and the car sits so much better on the road while towing.

What ones did you fit. Part number etc would be good.

I've been told that the BF xr ute doesnt have a actual polyair product for it besides the bellows, but I want the sleeved system just trying to find someone whose had them or has them so I can get the part number.

I fitted the polyair bags initially, But the right side bag stopped holding pressure after about 15,000kms, This was put down to mainly the fact it sits so close to the exhaust and how close it was since my ute was lowered.

I swapped to the bellow bags by Firestone which are from Pedders, and the ute is sweet as, I have towed my boat (2.3 ish ton, its really borderline for legality) with my CBR in the back of the ute and it rides nicely. I got it for $1,000 installed from Pedders Gateshead. He could also cut me a deal for an on board compressor if I wanted but I decided to test it out first.

If you don't want to call Pedders I could prolly ring up and find out myself. But they only sell one kit for lowered utes in the bellow style so you can't go wrong. Makes a hell of a difference though
