Hi Guy's & Girls

I don't want to sound like an old fart, (which I am) but after looking at the members on the forum I have been wondering what has happened to all the old original members.

I know some fell out for personel reasons and some left because of differences with other members but I do know that these people founded this forum.

I remember well when we would drive interstate to go to a BBQ or dinner with friends and talk cars.

Some of us have been through hard times and as friends we always offered help and support.

I could mention many names that have dissappeared for what ever reason, but I feel that as a forum of people who love cars I should remind all members this is a social forum.

We all love cars (FORDS)

I remember the pizza nights in Dickson (ACT) just to get togeather, the banter on the cruises when we took the wifes and kids (sorry Cro, Aaron, Mic etc)

We all had good times.

It's not just about how fast your car is or how quick you can get up the mountain but the friendship and the love of fine machines. (whatever make)

So I,am calling all old Farts & young ladies (they know who they are) to get togeather and if they no longer post ask their friends to let them know.

People come and go, friends and good cars don't

Regards

Gary (creepy)

:surrenderwave: Age shall not.....well....OK then the knees are wearing out a bit but Macka's still here and firing (or detonating)on all four Turbocharged Korean Diesel cylinders. :pleasantry:

If the Powerball is nice to Macka tonight, He will indeed be chasing the title of the the fastest old fart on the forum but the gods of $$ and better times needs to be smilin a bit more.

If this don't happen then the next Macka challenge will be to help Macka Jnr complete his twin turbo Merc 190 (Sorry) project (Check Bahaimus on PF) and boot it around QR or Lakeside :3gears: before ye old retirement age creeps up.......Yikes....

Still here and still eating the blue ones :yahoo:

Looks like your shout-out for old farts yielded the prime specimen :spit:

There's still a few around from time to time but most have moved on to more demographically suitable vehicles. Hyundais & Spazdas are the wheels of choice now apparently.

All going well there'll be another snowies cruise in November, even those are now driving something that couldn't pull the skin off a custard should come along even if just for an overnight stay in Jindabyne.
