Hey Guys,

Thought I might throw this up, I had my ZF Gearbox tuned by the guys at Elite Automotive @ Archerfield today... What can I say...? I’m more than happy!

First impression on pulling out of the driveway and the crisp & firm shift into 2nd gear I was instantly impressed. First thing that came to mind is that this gearbox now means business!

I haven’t yet had the chance to put it through its paces (much...:evill) but so far so good!

Over the next week ill be sure to keep updating this space as for how its going and what I am noticing

--

Over all I’m highly happy to recommend Elite to anyone who asks, and have been impressed with what they have done for me and my car.

So far they have fitted a Blue Power Racing intake and a tuned my car and I’m very happy with the 277rwkw that I have from these simple cost effective mods!

Can’t wait till I can get the car back in there to see over the 300rwkw mark

Special thanks to Paul, always good for a chat & a laugh, Great advice, Plus to lead me in the right direction of parts and the next step to take!

so a BIG Thanks to Paul, Tim, Steveo and the rest of the crew at Elite

Am I missing something, initially with just tune and CAI you got 277rwkw, but with 100CPI metal Cat, Middle Muffler Removal, Process West V2 Cooler Kit , ReDrilled injectors, you got 284rwkw, or have I just read it wrong. How do you find the ride with 20`` rims?

You have read it correctly... it first made 277rwkw and 500nm of torque with a Tune, Middle muffler removal and BPR CAI - Air Temp at the time was 15 Degrees

Second time it was done (last shown) had the Intercooler, injectors and cat and made 284rwkw and 600nm of torque - Air Temp at the time was 33 Degrees

so the torque has gone up by 100nm (on rough figures) and power has only gone up 7rwkw ... but the air temps at the times done would of heavly effected the dyno readings ... as we all know, Turbo cars are heaps quicker when there is colder air to be had!

So it was 18 degrees warmer when it was last dynoed which would of effected the readings to show not a huge gain.

When driving the car now after the tune it feels like it has increased 30rwkw ... Im sure if I had the car on the dyno back on a 15 degree day it would show more like 300rwkw

If any of that makes sence .. .if not, sorry haha
