johnopaul Member 36 Member For: 18y 3m 11d Posted 03/06/11 12:28 PM Share Posted 03/06/11 12:28 PM (edited) hey guys,I ve recently purchased a standard xr6 turbo 09/06 model with the updated f6 bottom end (rods) and valve springs etcand ive just added a f6 cooler, k&n and f6 lower intake but having stepped back from a fg xr6 turbo, iam still missing the kw :( so I was wondering if its possible to have a stock bf typhoon (f6) tune flashed into the ecu for the time being, while I save some $ for some injectors, pump, cat and proper tune? as I can see with the cooler and intake ive added theres no other differences betwwen the cars, so a stock f6 tune will at least improve on what I have atm, and more importantly increase boost and kw a bit.anyway, is this possible? does anyone know a ford dealer in nsw (prefer near syd) that would be willing to do this? This could be a real marking option, but I stand corrected if this is not the case. Could Ford actually offer this tune for older cars so as not to impact on FPV sales.
