hey guys um last night I managed to snap a vaule and it hit the piston and ended up throwing the rod and piston threw the block and the sump

Haha, interesting chain of events. Not a nice feeling. I had a similar problem but mine was caused by detonation. Are you sure it didn't all start with the rod snapping?
