had like surging problem and on full throttel like go then die um prob not seem fg motor is a little fidley might get long motor and build my self or get atmokik long motor and just go from there got no idea what there motors cost though

"Fg motor wont fit a BA sumps are totally different." thought someone done this allready? :dontknow:

Probably another 3K for R&R and tuning, bits and pieces, but I think said you were going to do that so you might save some $$$.

sambo, I fitted my BF1 sump to my Fg block no problems. Might be worth while just getting a new sump when you get your short motor. If I did things again, I would have pplanned it out a little more, and bought a block and crank from ford, and pistons, rods and rings from spool. (only cos I was on a budget). This would have been a reliable 450rwkw motor, and only cost me an extra day in assembly, and about $1000 more. than the short motor.
